The LifeFlight Lee Family and Australian Country Choice Centre officially opened in 2023. The base is home to the Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) AW139 chopper and crew who service the South West region. The Roma base is home to the inaugural LifeFlight Visitor Experience Centre.

The Bundaberg Aeromedical Base is a joint facility, shared with RFDS, that officially opened in 2020. Our crews operate from an AW139 helicopter, and have successfully fundraised to have a critical care doctor on board seven days per week.

The LifeFlight Clive Berghofer Maintenance Centre officially opened in August 2024. It is the largest facility in our network, spanning 5,000sqm, to support the ongoing maintenance and engineering of the LifeFlight fleet.

LifeFlight Australia operates a fully-integrated and dedicated Air Ambulance service, with four of the longest range medically-configured jet aircraft based in the South Pacific.
