The multidisciplinary and skilled LifeFlight nursing team deliver exceptional patient care to our community.

Work onboard medically configured helicopters and jets and provide critical support for a range of injuries and illnesses including neonatal transfers and emergency response to natural disasters.

The role of a LifeFlight paramedic

Flight Paramedics at LifeFlight work alongside Retrieval Medicine Officers, delivering high-level care during time-critical missions. From patient assessment and diagnostics to safe transport and documentation, you’ll be an integral part to our lifesaving efforts.

Retrievals on board our Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopters are conducted using rotary wing aircraft based in Toowoomba and Roma in Queensland Australia. These missions are carried out for SGAS consortium staff, contractors, site visitors, and public health agencies.
