We’re proud to be Australia’s largest employer of pre-hospital emergency care doctors, serving communities across Queensland and the world, in their greatest moment of need.
While our aircrafts connect patients to the care they need, it’s the people on board who truly set us apart. Our team of more than 180 critical care doctors are highly trained, empowered, and equipped to handle any emergency—from remote rescue operations to international medical evacuations.
We provide critical care doctors across all LifeFlight services and to all retrieval services in Queensland.
We believe that what we learn today, we can use to improve tomorrow’s care. Learn more about what we do to keep our team at the forefront of emergency care.
Our integrated teams of doctors, flight nurses and flight paramedics embrace the challenge presented by pre-hospital emergency care.
Operating in some of Australia’s harshest environments, we’re always pushing to set the bar higher. What we learn on the front-line today, helps us improve tomorrow.
From search and rescue operations to critical hospital transfers and aerial surveillance, our medical team is unmatched in the quality of care delivered.
A typical day could see our team rescuing victims of a natural disaster, conducting complex medical procedures on the side of a road, on a rural property, or back of an aircraft or sharing their experience to provide real-time, real-world training.
With critical care doctors based in locations across Australia and Singapore, we’re ready to mobilise in the moment. LifeFlight provides critical care where others can’t, serving communities in their greatest moments of need. Anyone, anywhere, anytime.
At the forefront of our medical workforce is a small team of dedicated, experienced specialists who provide leadership, education and training, guidance and mentor-ship to the whole retrieval family. They are the driving force behind LifeFlight’s ongoing excellence in pre-hospital care.
