LifeFlight began as a grassroots regional helicopter service, that’s grown to become the leaders in emergency rescue, protection and retrieval medicine. We’re always pushing, always innovating, always looking for more ways to save more lives.
Visitor Experiences are a chance for our communities to get a glimpse into what it takes to run an aeromedical service and a behind-the-scenes look at our active bases.
Perfect for all ages, our Visitor Experiences offer interactive exhibits and safety tips the whole family can get involved with.
See firsthand how we coordinate and execute critical rescue missions, 24/7, 365 days a year.
Learn more about our rapid response fleet of medically-equipped helicopters and jets and their custom fit out.
Learn more about the roles involved in getting our crews in the air and the specialised equipment each team member needs.
We are currently building the Sunshine Coast Visitor Experience and it is expected to open late 2025. Stay tuned on our website and social media for updates!
As the LifeFlight crew and helicopter could be tasked on a mission to save lives at any time, we can’t guarantee that you will get to see the helicopter through the viewing window.
There is no entry fee for the LifeFlight Roma Visitor Experience! The Roma Visitor Experience is a self-guided tour where you can take your time to journey through the history and story of LifeFlight at your own pace.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traditional Custodians of the land on which we serve and fly, and pay respect to their Elders past, present and future.
