Twenty years ago, the Darling Downs community came together to build something extraordinary – a hangar that would deliver critical care in the air and become a cornerstone of aeromedical services in regional Queensland.
Now, a new chapter begins.
The Pave the Way campaign is a vital step toward bringing LifeFlight’s new Visitor Experience and Education Centre to life in Toowoomba — a purpose-built, interactive space where stories are shared and futures are inspired. This unique centre will offer the public a behind-the-scenes look at our lifesaving operations and serve as a hub for community education, including our essential First Minutes Matter courses, which equip everyday people with the skills and confidence to act in an emergency before professional help arrives.
This is not just about a building. It’s about building a legacy. It’s about creating a place where the next generation can see themselves in the roles of today’s heroes — stepping into uniforms that are too big for them, for now, but will one day fit just right.
Your legacy will be written in stone: a personalised paver, laid at the entrance of this new community-funded centre.
