Woman airlifted after Christmas Day jet ski incident

An RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has flown a woman to hospital, after she reportedly fell from a jet ski, in a dam north-west of Brisbane.

The Brisbane-based aeromedical team was called to the scene, in the Somerset region, around 7 o’clock this evening (Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December).

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics who initially treated the woman, transported her to where the helicopter landed.

She was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, in a stable condition, with a potential spinal injury.
