The LifeFlight Toowoomba-based aeromedical crew this morning airlifted a woman to hospital after the vehicle she was in crashed into a tree.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland to a road southwest of Gatton at 1am.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for head, knee, abdominal and chest injuries.
The patient in her 30s was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition for further treatment.
