The Mount Isa-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man to hospital after a machinery incident.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 9.25am to a cattle station north of Mt Isa and landed near the scene.
The critical care Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local paramedics to treat a man in his 30s for chest and back injuries.
He was airlifted in a stable condition to Mount Isa Hospital for further treatment.
