Rescue chopper joins search for missing elderly woman

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew joined a multi-agency search for a missing woman this morning. 

The aeromedical chopper was tasked to a beach in the Noosa region at around 8:30am. 

The rescue crew searched along the dunes and over the ocean for an hour, but she was not located. 

RACQ LifeFlight Rescue has no further details on this incident.
