RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts woman after rollover

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a woman to hospital, after she was injured in a single vehicle rollover, in the Lockyer Valley overnight.

The rescue chopper was tasked to the scene of the crash on the Warrego Highway, just before midnight on Sunday evening (4th September).

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue pilot landed the aircraft on the highway near where the crash had occurred, which has been closed by emergency services.

When the aeromedical team arrived, they joined local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics in treating the female patient for suspected spinal injuries.

The woman, who is aged in her 20s, was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition, under the care of the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.
