RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts male after two-car crash

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a male patient to hospital, after a serious two-car crash, last night (Tuesday 15th November).

The aeromedical crew was called to the scene, north-west of Toowoomba, just before 8pm.

The pilot landed the rescue aircraft on the road, which had been closed to traffic by Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic joined other QAS paramedics in treating the male patient for a head injury.

He was then flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
