Quad bike crash victim airlifted from farm isolated by flood waters

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a man to hospital, after he crashed his quad bike on a farm in the Western Downs.

The man, who is aged in his 40s, suffered shoulder and chest injuries as a result of the crash.

The rescue chopper was call in to help him just after 11am yesterday (Thurs, 3rd March), after it became apparent that the property where he was located, was cut off by flood waters.
