Teenager airlifted after single vehicle rollover

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter has airlifted a teenage girl to hospital after she was injured in a car crash, north of Toowoomba, earlier today.

The rescue chopper was sent to the scene around 7:30am, where it was able to land in a paddock nearby.

It’s believed the girl’s father raised the alarm, after he called her to check she had arrived at work.

The aeromedical team worked alongside Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat her for lower limb injuries.

She was transported, in a stable condition, to Toowoomba Hospital.
