The Sunshine-Coast based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew airlifted a man to hospital this afternoon after he came off his motorcycle in the Toowoomba region.

The man, in his 50s, lost control of his motorcycle while travelling on the D’Aguilar Highway at about 3pm.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics transported him to a nearby town where he was met by the LifeFlight aeromedical crew and treated for multiple wounds and abrasions.
