Man airlifted in a critical condition after bulldozer rollover

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a critically injured man who was involved in a bulldozer incident, in the Toowoomba region.

The rescue chopper was called into action just before midday (Sat, April 13) and landed near the scene a short time later.

It’s believed the man had been operating a bulldozer on a private property clearing noxious weeds when it rolled down a steep hill, around 30 metres, leaving him in the cabin.

The man, aged in his 40s, suffered traumatic head and internal injuries.

The aeromedical crew worked alongside local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) to assist the man.

He was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
