LifeFlight chopper crew searches for missing teens

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew joined a multi-agency search for two boys, missing in state forest in the Fraser Coast region, this afternoon.

The LifeFlight chopper was tasked by Queensland Police Service (QPS) just after 1.30pm.

The rescue crew flew over thick state forest for three hours in an attempt to find the two teenagers.

It is believed they went missing in thick bushland after a car accident and were last seen around 5.30am according to QPS.

There was no sighting by the helicopter crew who returned to base around 4.30pm.
