The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a man to hospital yesterday, Sunday 23 March, after a motorcycle crash in the Fraser Coast region.

The crew was tasked to the incident at 1.45pm and were able to land the helicopter on a road close to the scene, which had been closed by emergency services.

A man in his 50s was treated by the LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic for multiple arm and leg injuries.

He was flown to Hervey Bay Hospital for further treatment.
