LifeFlight airlifts man to hospital after trail bike crash

The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a man to hospital today after a trail bike crash.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 12.45pm by Retrieval Services Queensland to a beach in the Noosa region and landed near the scene.

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) critical care flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient in his 40s for shoulder and upper back injuries.

He was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
