LifeFlight airlifts man after truck rollover

The Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter crew today airlifted a man to hospital after a truck rollover.

The chopper was tasked to a rural property in the Western Downs region at 8.20am.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and flight paramedic worked with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the patient for multiple injuries.

The man, aged in his 30s, was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.

Tasked by Queensland Ambulance Service, the LifeFlight SGAS helicopter and crew performed this mission as part of the SGAS partners’ commitment to providing community aeromedical coverage.
