LifeFlight airlifts man after mustering incident

The LifeFlight Bundaberg-based aeromedical crew airlifted a man to hospital, after he fell from his trail bike yesterday .

The rescue chopper was tasked to a property in the Banana region at 6pm.

It’s believed the man in his 30s was mustering cattle with a group of other people when he fell off his bike.

Witnesses initiated first aid and called emergency services.

He was treated by the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic and local QAS paramedics.

The patient was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition with facial and spinal injuries.

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
