LifeFlight airlifts man after motor vehicle incident

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew last night airlifted a man following a single-vehicle incident near Kalpowar.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 4.30pm and landed on a rural dirt road close to the incident.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for multiple injuries.

A man in his 20s was flown to Bundaberg LifeFlight base in a stable condition and then transferred by QAS to the Bundaberg Hospital.

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
