LifeFlight airlifts man after ATV rollover

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man after a buggy rollover in the Gladstone region.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 2.55pm and landed at a private property near the scene.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat a patient in his 50s for arm and abdominal injuries.

He was airlifted to the LifeFlight Bundaberg base and road transported to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
