LifeFlight airlifts injured woman after vehicle roll-over

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a woman in her 20s to hospital after a single vehicle rollover Sunday afternoon.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 3pm and landed in a nearby paddock in the Goondiwindi region.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked alongside local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for head and chest injuries.

She was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.
