LifeFlight airlifts injured man after ute rollover

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital after he was injured in a ute rollover, in the Western Downs region.

The aeromedical team was called into action just before 6 o’clock this evening (Monday 7th November).

The pilot landed the aircraft near the scene and the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic joined local paramedics in treating the patient.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) personnel and Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers were also in attendance.

The man, aged in his 50s, had suffered injuries to his head and upper body.

He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital, in a stable condition.
