LifeFlight airlifts teenage girl after horse kick

The Mt Isa-based LifeFlight aeromedical helicopter crew airlifted a teenage girl to hospital today after she was kicked in the leg by a horse. 

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked around 7am to a private property located in the Shire of McKinlay.

The flight paramedic worked with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the patient for a leg injury.

She was flown to Mt Isa Hospital in a stable condition.
