LifeFlight airlifts teen after being trampled by a bull

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew Saturday night airlifted a male teenager to hospital after he was trampled on while riding a bull.

The LifeFlight helicopter landed at the local showgrounds at Miriam Vale after it was tasked at 8:50pm.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for significant pelvic injuries.

The teenager was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital for further treatment.
