The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a man to hospital, after he was injured while conducting maintenance on a vehicle, west of Goondiwindi, this afternoon.
It’s believed the man, who is aged in his 30s, suffered arm and chest injuries as a result of the car rolling on top of him.
The rescue chopper was called into action just before 1pm (Monday, 10th April).
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter pilot landed the aircraft on a private property, where the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic met with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient.
He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
