The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew has airlifted a woman, after she was injured in a motorbike accident, while mustering cattle.
It’s believed she was riding on a property in the Burnett region, when her bike hit an ant nest and crashed.
The helicopter was called into action around 11am today (Monday 4th May).
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Critical Care Flight Paramedic and local QAS paramedics at the scene treated the patient for leg injuries.
The rescue crew then flew the woman, aged in her 50s, to Bundaberg Hospital.
She was airlifted in a stable condition.
