The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a man to hospital, after a single vehicle crash in the Lockyer Valley region, this evening.
The aeromedical crew was called into action just after 6pm.
The pilot was able to land the helicopter in a clearing near the accident scene, where the crew rendesvoused with the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS).
The patient, who had been a passenger in the vehicle, was treated for a head injury and loaded into the aircraft.
The man, aged in his 20s, was flown to Toowoomba Hospital, under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.
He was in a stable condition.
