Sonny’s little life was slipping away...

Sonny’s mum knew something was wrong when the usually lively 22-month-old lost all his energy and appetite. She took him to their local doctor in Dalby, who said “I think Sonny has leukaemia.”

Sonny urgently needed lifesaving chemotherapy. There was only one way of getting him to the Brisbane hospital in time.

It was a mission for RACQ LifeFlight Rescue.

The helicopter arrived at the Brisbane hospital in one hour. Getting to Brisbane by car would have taken three hours—by then it might have been too late.

The better prepared crews are, the faster they can act. Please donate today to help us carry on lifesaving missions like these!
