Jocelyn Walker has been appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of her significant service to businesses and to the community through philanthropic endeavours. She is also known for her company, Moby Vic’s 24-hour roadhouses, located at Glasshouse Mountains, and her involvement in other commercial developments.
A dedicated philanthropist, Jocelyn is an avid supporter of LifeFlight, Steps Charity Sunshine Coast, SunnyKids Sunshine Coast, and Montrose Access Sunshine Coast. She also serves as the patron of the Sunshine Coast Oriana Choir, furthering her commitment to community and the arts.
Jocelyn holds many esteemed positions in the community. She has been a Member of the University of the Sunshine Coast Foundation Board for over two decades and is an Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She is also a valued member of the Vice Chancellor & President’s Circle and a Chancellor’s Associate.
Jocelyn has been a member of the Women Chiefs of Enterprises Queensland Division for 20 years, an international business network that supports women entrepreneurs. Her unwavering dedication to community, business, and philanthropy continues to inspire and make a lasting impact.
Dan is the Director of Pertot & Co Mortgage Brokers located in Noosaville, QLD. With over 10 years’ experience in finance and lending, Dan focuses on tailored, personal service.
Having called the Sunshine Coast for more than 30 years, he combines extensive local knowledge with genuine care to help clients secure the right loan solutions for their goals.
Dan is excited to bring a further reach to LifeFlight in the Noosa Region in his role as Deputy Chair and hopes to bring together his large local network to assist in our efforts to help such a great cause.
Originally from Victoria, Tarlia has been a proud Sunshine Coast local for over 16 years. With a background across education and pharmaceutical sales, Tarlia holds a Bachelor of Education (P-12) from Victoria University of Technology.
Tarlia has experience across both the independent and state education systems. Her most recent education role was as Head of Student Engagement (Years 7-9) at Matthew Flinders Anglican College.
In that role, Tarlia enjoyed working with students and senior administration to develop and implement programs aimed at developing not only their academic skills but also an understanding of their ability to contribute to the wider school and Sunshine Coast communities.
Currently the Community and Brand Manager for Spire Law, which has offices in Beerwah, Caloundra, Cooroy, Maroochydore and Noosa, Tarlia is a dedicated professional and passionate about her work, which requires her to take both a strategic and hands-on approach.
Tarlia enjoys working with the businesses to identify opportunities for it to engage with and support local community groups together with a number of charities and not-or-profits that align with its values.
Kristy is currently the Head of Australian Retirement Trust’s Company Secretariat division, and prior to that was Company Secretary of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Kristy is a Fellow of the Governance Institute, a Member of their Legislative Review Committee and also a Member of the AICD. Kristy holds a Masters in Business Administration and Graduate Diploma’s in both Corporate Governance and Human Resources.

With offices in Mooloolaba and Kingaroy, Ken is a qualified Financial Planner and enjoys helping people in the area of retirement planning, superannuation, building wealth, and maximising pensions for retirees. He also provides advice on personal insurance being income protection, life and TPD insurance as well as trauma insurance.
Ken’s passion is being able to help people when a tragedy occurs in the event of sickness and accident knowing their insurance will pay out.
This is another reason why Ken is also passionate about Lifeflight and see the value of what they do.
