The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical crew has airlifted a critically injured man to hospital, following a single vehicle crash south west of Toowoomba, in the early hours of this morning.
The rescue helicopter was called to the scene, where a ute had rolled over on an isolated stretch of road near a state forest, south west of Toowoomba, at around 3.00am.
The pilot safely landed the aircraft on the road and the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care doctor and Flight Paramedic assisted Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics in treating two patients.
A man, aged in his thirties, suffered head and arm injuries and was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
