Man airlifted to hospital after single vehicle rollover

Toowoomba’s LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter has flown a man to hospital after he was involved in a vehicle rollover.

The rescue chopper was called at 8:50pm last night (Friday 17th Sept), to attend the scene in the Toowoomba region.

While enroute, the crew was diverted to a hospital near the scene, where the patient had been transported to, by the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS).

The patient, aged in his 40s, was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, under the care of the aeromedical crew.

He suffered chest, back and hand injuries and was transported in a stable condition.
