Man airlifted by LifeFlight after burns incident

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man to hospital after a burns incident.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 12.55pm by Retrieval Services Queensland to a rural property in the Gladstone region and landed in a paddock near the scene.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic treated the patient, aged in his 20s, for burns.

He was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital for further treatment in a stable condition.

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
