LifeFlight airlifts woman trampled by cow

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a woman today after she was trampled by a cow south of Condamine.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 7.05am by Retrieval Services Queensland to a private property in Inglestone and landed in a paddock near the scene.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the woman for a back injury.

The helicopter flew to Archerfield Airport where the crew was met by QAS paramedics.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics transported the patient in her 20s by road to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
