The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 6.55pm by Retrieval Services Queensland to a property in Coomrith in the Western Downs region and landed near the scene.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and flight paramedic worked with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the patient for pelvic injuries.

The patient was airlifted to Roma Airport and road transported to Roma Hospital by QAS paramedics in a stable condition.

The LifeFlight SGAS helicopter and crew performed this mission as part of the SGAS partners’ commitment to providing community aeromedical coverage.
