Man trapped by floodwaters airlifted by LifeFlight

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight crew today airlifted an injured man after he was trapped by floodwater on a farm near Baffle Creek.

The crew was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 11am and landed the helicopter in a paddock on the property.

A man in his 80s was treated for a medical condition by the critical care LifeFlight doctor and QAS flight paramedic.

He was flown to Bundaberg Airport before being road-transported to Bundaberg Hospital.

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
