The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 10.20am to a rural property and landed near the scene.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and flight paramedic worked with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the patient for a significant leg injury.
The man, in his 20s, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.
The LifeFlight SGAS helicopter and crew performed this mission as part of the SGAS partners’ commitment to providing community aeromedical coverage.
