LifeFlight airlifts man after motor vehicle incident

The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew yesterday airlifted a man to hospital after he was injured in a motor vehicle crash.

The helicopter was tasked at 3.35pm by Retrieval Services Queensland to the Scenic Rim region.

The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the man for head and lower body injuries.

The patient, aged in his 30s, was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening
