LifeFlight airlifts critically injured man after crash

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew tonight airlifted a man to hospital after he was injured in a single vehicle crash.

It’s believed the vehicle crashed into a tree while travelling on a road at Coulson.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 10.55pm and landed on an intersection near the scene.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for life-threatening head and chest injuries.

The male patient, aged in his 50s, was airlifted to the Princess Alexandria Hospital in a critical condition.
