Help us keep flying after dark.
We need your help to raise $200,000 to purchase 10 new state-of-the-art Night Vision Goggles (NVGs), which will help our crews to perform lifesaving missions at night. Right now, if even one of our current sets of Night Vision Goggles fails or becomes unusable, our ability to operate at night would be critically impacted. Your support now will help to make sure our crews have this vital piece of lifesaving equipment on board.
Night Vision Goggles are critical to our crew’s safety and our patients – they are one of the most important pieces of equipment we have on board our helicopters.
*All donations over $2 are tax-deductible. At the LifeFlight Foundation (ABN: 63 618 170 184), we use Payments2Us and Ezidebit so your donations are secure. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch.
Rescue missions frequently occur in challenging conditions, including in the dark of night, with very low visibility or hard to reach and navigate places. Outside of aeronautical navigating devices, NVGs are one of the most important pieces of lifesaving equipment our LifeFlight helicopter pilots require to fly medical crews to critically ill patients at night.
Without state-of-the-art NVGs, our rescue teams are hampered in their ability to spot and help save the lives of patients, quickly and safely. This delay in response can have severe consequences, particularly in life-threatening situations.
Please donate today to help us raise the needed funds to purchase 10 new state-of-the-art Night Vision Goggles, which will help our crews across Queensland save lives.
Josh Ward’s fall down a two-metre hole near Mt Isa in North West Queensland could have been fatal if it wasn’t for LifeFlight’s critical aeromedical service and the team’s use of night vision goggles. Read his story here.
