The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man to hospital after a motorcycle crash in the Somerset region.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked to the scene by Retrieval Services Queensland at 2.07pm.
The rider had been travelling downhill with a group of other motorcyclists when his motorbike crashed down an embankment.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for a leg injury.
The man, aged in his 20s, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
