The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man to hospital after a motorbike and a vehicle crash in the Gympie region.
The chopper was tasked at 10:05am by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed at a private property close to the scene.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the man for head, chest, pelvis and arm injuries,
The patient, aged in his 70s, was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
