The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a man to hospital yesterday after a motor vehicle crash on North Stradbroke Island.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 3pm by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed in a clearing near the scene.
A man in his 80s was treated by the critical care LifeFlight doctor and QAS flight paramedic, alongside local QAS paramedics for back and neck injuries.
He was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
