The Brisbane-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew today airlifted a man in his 20s to hospital after a burns’ incident.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 4.05pm by Retrieval Services Queensland and landed at a private property in the Scenic Rim region.
The critical care LifeFlight doctor and flight nurse worked with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat a male patient for facial burns.
He was airlifted in a stable condition to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
The Brisbane helicopter was also tasked on Saturday at 5pm to an island in Moreton Bay.
The helicopter landed at an oval where it was met by QAS paramedics.
A male patient with medical complications was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
