The Sunshine Coast aeromedical crew today airlifted a woman to hospital after a back burning incident west of Maryborough.
The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland at 4pm and landed on a private property near the scene.
A woman in her 50s was driven to the helicopter and treated by the critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic alongside local QAS paramedics for burns to her hands and knee.
The patient was airlifted in a stable condition to the LifeFlight Sunshine Coast base and road transported by QAS to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
