The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has flown a man to hospital after he was injured in a motorcycle crash, in the Scenic Rim region.
The rescue chopper was tasked to the incident, shortly after 10.45am this morning (Sun,19th Feb).
It’s believed the motorcyclist, aged in his 60s, had been riding by himself when the crash occurred.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics initially treated the man on scene for several broken limbs.
The local QAS paramedics then transported him to a nearby dirt road, where the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter pilot was able to land.
The man was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
He travelled under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.
