RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts woman after head on collision

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted an injured woman to hospital, after she was involved in a two vehicle crash, earlier today.
The rescue chopper was sent to the scene, south west of Bundaberg, around 4:30 this afternoon, where the pilot was able to land the aircraft in a paddock nearby.
The aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to treat the woman, aged in her forties, for multiple injuries.
She was flown in a serious but stable condition to Bundaberg Hospital.
