RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifts teen horse rider

The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a teenage girl to hospital, after she fell off a horse.

The rescue crew was called to a private property, north-west of Caboolture, just after 5.30pm.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Flight Nurse joined local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics, in treating and stabilising the teenager.

She was flown to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition, with suspected pelvic injuries.
