The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after he was injured while working at a factory, south-west of Toowoomba, early this morning.
The rescue chopper was sent to the scene around 6:30am.
It’s believed the man was packing boxes, when he became trapped in the machine he was using.
Several minutes later, he was freed by a fellow worker.
After arriving at the scene, the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to treat the man for multiple upper body injuries.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
